Zamir White rushed for a career-high 136 yards with a touchdown, and No. 5 Georgia beat Kentucky 14-3 on Saturday in an SEC contest at Lexington, Ky.

It was the 11th straight win over Kentucky for the Bulldogs.

Leading 7-3 coming out of halftime, Georgia (4-1, 4-1 SEC) took the kickoff to open the second half and White, who carried the ball 26 times, delivered what proved to be the back-breaker less than four minutes into the half. On a 4th-and-1 from the Kentucky 22-yard line, White broke through the middle of the pack and darted his way into the end zone to finish off the 75-yard drive.

The Bulldogs rushed for 215 yards, and the defense kept the Wildcats' offense at bay. Even with 108 rushing yards from Chris Rodriguez, Kentucky (2-4, 2-4) managed just 229 total yards and failed to reach the end zone against a Georgia team that lost 41-24 loss to No. 2 Alabama two weeks ago.

Georgia showed from the start that it intended to run the ball. On their first drive of the day, the Bulldogs kept all 12 plays on the ground, covered 86 yards, featured four different ball carriers and capped it off with a 2-yard scoring run by quarterback Stetson Bennett for a 7-0 lead.

However, Georgia was unable to build on that early successful drive. Bennett (9-of-13 passing, 131 yards, two interceptions) was picked off in Kentucky territory in the second quarter, and the Bulldogs missed a 53-yard field goal just before the half.

The Wildcats put up their only points of the game in the second quarter, settling for a 34-yard field goal from Matt Ruffolo after a 19-play drive that took 10:28 off the clock.

Georgia played without star receiver George Pickens, due to a reported upper body injury. He entered the game with 13 receptions for 140 yards with two touchdowns. The Bulldogs also lost key defenders Jordan Davis and Julian Rochester to injury in the game.

Kentucky quarterback Terry Wilson, meanwhile, missed the game with a hand injury. The Wildcats' Joey Gatewood was 15-of-25 passing for 91 yards in his place.
