Zamir White ran for two touchdowns and Stetson Bennett passed for one as host No. 4 Georgia defeated No. 7 Auburn 27-6 in an SEC game Saturday night.

White rushed for 88 yards on 19 carries for the Bulldogs (2-0, 2-0 SEC). Bennett, who came off the bench to spark the offense in a 37-10 victory at Arkansas last week, completed 17 of 28 for 240 yards.

Georgia held the Tigers (1-1, 1-1) without a touchdown, allowing 39 rushing yards and limiting Bo Nix to 21 completions in 40 attempts for 177 yards. Nix had thrown three second-half touchdowns in a 29-13 victory against Kentucky last week.

Auburn scored its first points on a field goal on its last possession of the first half, and on its first possession of the second half, Anders Carlson kicked a 45-yard field to cut Georgia's lead to 24-6.

Jack Podlesny's 25-yard field goal increased the lead to 27-6 at the end of the third quarter.

The Tigers drove to the Bulldogs 30 early in the fourth quarter, but on fourth-and-13 Mark Webb intercepted Nix, ending his school-record streak of 251 passes without an interception.

Podlesny missed a 43-yard field goal later in the quarter.

White ran 1 yard for a touchdown to give Georgia a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter.

The Bulldogs drove to a first-and-goal at the 4 on their next possession but stalled. Podlesny kicked a 21-yard field that gave them a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Bennett threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to George Pickens and White scored on another 1-yard run to push the lead to 24-0.

The Tigers drove to a first-and-goal at the 7 before stalling, and Carlson kicked a 20-yard field goal that cut Georgia's lead to 24-3 at halftime.

The Bulldogs, who rushed for just 121 yards and a 2.9-yard average in a win against Arkansas last week, ran for 130 yards and a 5.4-yard average in the first half. They finished with 202 yards rushing.
